Heheh:The Brewers Fan Appreciation Night is breaking tradition this year and happening today vs the Reds instead of on their last home stand against the Cubs, because the Brewers don't want their fan appreciation prizes going to Cub fans.

Young dudes:
CJ Edwards - RHRP all the way. Throws mid-90s but has shitty control. Plus-plus arm speed, shit build, wont hold up over the long haul, curveball is 11-5 and it's from hell. Can be a closer.
Willson Contreras - I heard its real, borderline 7 run, premium athlete with a fine defensive profile. He knocked the fuck out of some farm hand when I saw him. Dude has a stud profile at catcher.
Albert Almora - I don't see a plus hit anymore, I think it's about a 45-50 hit and a plus defender in CF. It's playable but the profile has taken a step back a bit. 50/55 player overall in my mind.
Duane Underwood - Potential 3 starter, plus FB/CB combination, enough of a change and some command. He's gonna be good.
Pierce Johnson - four pitches, potential plus cutter, never is healthy enough and he runs into trouble with walks. I want to like him but I don't.
Jorge Soler - I'd see what you can get by trading either him or Schwarber. I do like the Rodon pick over Schwarber still and the dude the Twins got, Nick Gordon, he's a fucking stud too. Schwarber is very good but I think he's a guy that brings back a premium arm. I just don't like his defensive profile at all.
Zagunis - He gets helium for his stats but I fucking hate him. 40 OFP for me, good eye can't barrel it up well enough to be a difference maker.
Billy McKinney - Role player, plus hit, weak profile everywhere else. Someone dropped a Ryan Sweeney comp on him, I don't disagree with it. He can be useful but I think folks are about to be carried away with this guy.
DJ Wilson - Premium athlete, more power than you'd think given his frame, no shit CF profile. Name to watch for sure.
Gleyber Torres - 55 player which is really fucking good. I think he moves to 3B because his range is just average. Power will come but he'll be a doubles guy more than anything.
Rotation
It fucking blows outside of Lester and Arrieta. I know Hendricks gets #datlove but he's just a 5th starter who can't go 5 innings without getting hit hard. Hammel a 4 and Haren is just a guy to fill out the rotation. I do think this is still a weak spot for the Cubs and I don't have a lot of faith for their playoff aspirations if they win the play-in game. I also don't get the impression that they'll be in on some of the big name SPs this offseason, they'll be looking more for 3/4 types.
The offense is silk. Defensively they're much improved with Russell at short which is a great development. They have shit to figure out in the rotation and I think they can be prone to mass slumping because of the swing and miss nature of their players.
FWIW you Cubs fans (I don't ID as one, I root for a lot of guys I know in diff orgs including the Cardinals. One of my best friends works for them) have gotten pretty goddamn loud about shit which I get but I find it almost funny. I knew it would happen and I love the guys on the team but Cubs fans with a good team are right behind Red Sox fans as the most insufferable in all of baseball.
I still love you guys tho.

And you had to know Cubs fans would be the worst. It's inevitable.
